وَٱلضُّحَىٰ 93:1

By the morning hours

وَٱلضُّحَىٰ 93:1
Wadduha
By the morning hours
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ 93:2
Wallayli itha saja
And by the night when it is stillest,
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ 93:3
Ma waddaAAaka rabbuka wama qala
Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee,
وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ 93:4
Walal-akhiratu khayrun laka minaal-oola
And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former,
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ 93:5
Walasawfa yuAAteeka rabbuka fatarda
And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content.
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ 93:6
Alam yajidka yateeman faawa
Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)?
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ 93:7
Wawajadaka dallan fahada
Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)?
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ 93:8
Wawajadaka AAa-ilan faaghna
Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)?
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ 93:9
Faamma alyateema fala taqhar
Therefor the orphan oppress not,
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ 93:10
Waamma assa-ila falatanhar
Therefor the beggar drive not away,
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ 93:11
Waamma biniAAmati rabbika fahaddith
Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse.
